About the Author

Stephen J. Bigelow is the founder and president of Dynamic Learning System, a technical research and writing firm specializing in PC and peripheral service. An experienced electronics engineer, he is the author of several bet-selling computer books, including Troubleshooting, Maintaining & Repairing PCs, 5/e and is also the series editor for Bigelow’s Pocket Reference Series with more than 150,000 copies in print. The editor of The PC Toolbox newsletter and the author of more than 90 articles, Bigelow also teaches PC online courses at Ziff Davis University.
