About the Author

Joseph Phillips, MCSE, MCT, CTT, has served as an independent IT consultant (with an emphasis on project management), trainer, and writer since 1993 when he began teaching for Columbia College in Chicago. He has contributed as an author or technical editor to more than 25 books, exam software, and Web sites. He has written articles for Windows NT Systems Magazine, NT Magazine, and MCP Magazine, and he served as a primary author for the A+ Bible.
