This research-based set of hands-on activities can be used alone or alongside another text in any Diversity or Multicultural Education course (the activities are referenced in Human Diversity in Education, Fifth Edition, by Cushner/McClelland/Safford, for which this workbook is an ideal companion). Instead of just telling, this workbook allows students to learn by doing and reflecting, through numerous activities that address a vast range of diversities including race, ethnicity, gender, class, disability, and sexual orientation.
