Synopsis
This text is designed to teach students how to apply MathCAD, an extremely versatile problem-solving software tool, to problems in science and engineering. What distinguishes this book from other software tutorials is that it actually takes the student through the traditional subject matter covered in basic and intermediate courses. Each topic has a worksheet which allows the user to examine the "What-if" aspect of the subject matter. An accompanying data disk contains all of the worksheets. A Student Version of MathCAD 2.5 is also available for IBM PC and compatibles on either 3 1/2" or 5 1/4" format.
