About the Author

Clive Finkelstein (Perth, Western Australia) is acknowledged worldwide as the "Father" of Information Engineering (IE), having developed its concepts from 1976-1980 based on original work carried out by him to bridge from strategic business planning to information systems. He has over 50 years' experience in the Computer Industry.  He has been a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society (ACS) since 1972 and was inducted into the ACS Pearcey IT Hall of Fame in 2008. 


 Peter Aiken  (Richmond, VA) has been employed in information technology/management related positions since 1980. His publications have appeared in the Communications of the ACM, the IBM Systems Journal, Hypermedia, Information Week and a number of others. His achievements have resulted in recognition in The Dictionary of International Biographies, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who Among America's Teachers, and other biographical compilations.
