Synopsis
The main aim of this revised and enlarged edition of a popular student textbook is to describe the working principles of farm tractors and machinery in a way that is comprehensible to agricultural students and agricultural workers throughout the world. The book also contains many helpful illustrations, printed in two colours in such a way that the student will get a clear idea of the working principles involved. A further aid to full understanding is the use of several diagrams to illustrate different mechanisms or phases of a cycle on the same machine. Each chapter concludes with information on servicing and maintenance of the farm machines discussed. Also included is a new chapter on farm safety. Both Imperial and Metric Units are used throughout the book.
