A surreal alternate history, with a man's search for answers about his vanished parents that propels him on an odyssey from the present into the past: from a bar in the Bronx to Tokyo and Shanghai during the Second World War. Softening of the back strip edges with bumping of the top book edges. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with light age toning of the text block edges and stains and foxing to the text block edges. Foxing to the first few and last few pages of the book and remnants of a sticker can be seen to the top edge of the free front end page. A little creasing of the dustwrapper edges with rubbing of the panels. Fading of the back strip. First English Edition.
