A clock with movable hands helps children follow Paddington Bear through the events of his day
"synopsis" may belong to another edition of this title.
At seven o'clock, Paddington Bearwho sleeps with his red hat onpokes his nose out of the covers and decides to grab a few winks more. By eight, he's splashing water on his whiskers. Readers have the chance to arrange the moveable hands on the face of a clock as Paddington spends his day eating, cooking with Mrs. Bird, snoozing, writing postcards, drinking tea (twice) and finally going to bed. Those unfamiliar with Paddington may not know why a news item about Peru excites him, and parents will probably have to explain the Britishism "elevenses." A pleasant introduction to the concept of time, though by no means a comprehensive one.
