The last book written by legendary 38-confirmed-kill British RAF WW2 ace Air Vice-Marshal J E 'Johnnie' Johnson, this time co-written with friend and ace Wing Commander 'Laddie' Lucas. Covers the European air war primarily from the British perspective, but with a tribute to the work of the USAAF 8th Air Force - as well as to the work of NZ, Australian, Canadian and US airmen flying with the RAF fighter force.
