Raju Khan is currently working as Senior Scientist at Microfluidics & MEMS Centre, CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal-462026, MP, India. His current research on Bio-molecular separation including sample preparation and detection, Micro-chip based separation under the concept of lab-on-a-chip and electrochemical biosensor integrated with microfluidics for clinical applications. He has more than 15 years R&D experiences in CSIR & other academics R&D Institutes such as in Analytical Chemistry Group, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam, CSIR-NPL, New Delhi and CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal Govt. of India, respectively. He received his MSc degree in Inorganic Chemistry and PhD in Physical Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, Central University, New Delhi, India, 2002 & 2005, respectively. Thereafter, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the “Sensor Research laboratory Department of Chemistry, University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa, in the year 2005-06 and also worked as a Fast Track Young Scientist at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi Govt. of India. Dr Khan involved in synthesize of novel materials to fabricate electrochemical biosensor to detect target disease risk biomarker for health care monitoring. Dr Khan is also engaged other external project funding by National & International collaborative project, Indo-Czech Republic & Indo-Russia etc. In collaborative work he reported several international journal articles which have been high citation with high impact factors. He awarded the reputed BOYSCAST fellowship under the scheme of BOYSCAST fellowship from DST and worked as a visiting scientist for one year at University of the Texas at San-antonio, UTSA, USA. Since then, Dr. Khan is continuously very productive along with more than 15 years R&D and teaching experiences with producing high quality research, mentoring students, and supporting analytical & microfluidics division as outsource facility.
Shaswat Barua is currently working as a CSIR-Nehru Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at CSIR-North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, Assam, Govt. of India. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Jorhat Science College and M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Tezpur University, Assam, India. The main focus of his research is the development of high performance biomaterials. He did his post-doctoral research in Defence Research Laboratory, DRDO, Tezpur, India and Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, India. He has been working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the School of Basic Sciences, Assam Kaziranga University, India since August 2016.
