Synopsis
This is an introductory textbook on automatic flight control systems (AFCSs) for undergraduate aeronautical engineers. It is hope that that the material and the manner of its presentation will increase the student's understanding of the basic problems of controlling an aircraft's flight, and enhance his ability to assess the solution to the problems which are generally proposed.
