About the Author
ROBERT G. GANN, PH.D. has worked since 1989 as a design engineer at Hewlett-Packard with responsibility for image quality specification and evaluation of HP ScanJet scanners. He has traveled worldwide, giving classes in testing scanners to audiences ranging from novice users to image scientists.
