Unlike books that focus on either the “how” or “what” of teaching, Curriculum and Instructional Methods for the Elementary and Middle School explores both the “how” and “what” , and provides an integrative approach to ensure teachers a broad knowledge base when they enter the classroom. A five-part organization covers challenge, choice, and responsibility of elementary and middle school teachers; delivery of instruction: how teachers teach; implementing the curriculum; and professional growth. For active and future elementary and middle school teachers.
