He is responsible for designing end-to-end broadband service architectures delivered over xDSL, Hybrid Fiber/Coaxial (HFC), wireless and in-home networks. He has lead an industry effort to design an interoperable broadband Internet service architecture for ADSL that has been widely adopted. He has served on the Board of Directors of The ATM Forum and as the Vice President of Business Development Strategies. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University where he designed a high performance ATM switch architecture.
