This CD-ROM allows users to experience educational psychology topics in an interactive format. Users participate in five "virtual" experiments and draw implications for educational practice. An optional Educational Research track also allows users to explore research and read a journal article or book chapter related to the topic in question. Each simulation is designed to stand on its own and be self-explanatory. A consistent four part structure characterizes each of the educational psychology experiment modules: 1. A virtual experiment—users begin by being led step-by-step through a classic psychological experiment and are prompted to type in responses as they work through the interactive module; 2. Implications for teaching—users review the experiment's implications for teaching and participate in an education application of the exercise; 3. Research Articles—give users the opportunity to analyze the research supporting the experiment; 4. Video clips—provide classroom examples of the theory behind each simulation module. For educators of Educational Psychology or Learning Theories.
