Synopsis
A reviewer said, "It's a wonderful book for beginning students. I teach English to Latin Americans. Sometimes in a class, sometimes one-to-one. I can make the book work for all. There are occasional flashes of humor, and the book would benefit from more of that. It tends to be a bit dry so I supplement it with other material, but for teaching the basics, I haven't found anything to beat it. It's my bible. I start all my new students at the beginning to I can ascertain their level and usually we jump ahead very quickly. I'd like more (and larger) illustrations."
