This book is a "what to do" and "how to do it" guide to applying the ISO 9000 standard to building quality software. Covers what the ISO 9000 standard is, how it is to be applied to software development, where it stands in the overall world of software quality approaches, and what has happened in specific applications of the standard. Also explains why adherence to the standard does not necessarily guarantee a quality software product, and offers insight needed to supplement ISO 9000 and improve its chances of accomplishing a quality product.
