Presenting the evidence gleaned from leaders in the field of alternate route programs, the authors describe lessons learned in building a quality teaching force through alternate routes to teaching:

·         Recruitment and selection of candidates for successful teaching. Learn to develop a successful recruitment, selection, and placement program through the lessons learned and shared by Michelle Rhee, the founder, President and CEO of The New Teacher Project (TNTP).
