From a renowned team of experts—a thorough introduction to aural rehabilitation.
Highly regarded and now substantially updated, this book provides a thorough, cohesive introduction to the basics of audiologic rehabilitation for undergraduates, without excessive attention to subjects best covered in depth at a graduate level. The strong team of renowned experts looks at the changing state of audiology through coverage of important contemporary issues such as professional practice documents, evidence based practice, multicultural issues, and advances in computer and web-based rehabilitation activities. Included are illustrative case studies, many helpful chapter-opening and –ending pedagogical features, and a superior companion website of important resources and application materials for each chapter.
