Dr. Randall Boyle is an associate professor at the College of Business and Economics at Longwood University. He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Florida State University in 2003. He also has a master’s degree in Public Administration and a B.S. in Finance.¿
His research areas include deception detection in computer-mediated environments, information assurance policy, the effects of IT on cognitive biases, and the effects of IT on knowledge workers. He has published in journals such as Journal of Management Information Systems, International Journal of E-Collaboration, and Journal of International Technology and Information Management.
Dr. Boyle has received various teaching awards at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, the University of Utah, and Longwood University including the Marvin J. Ashton Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Excellence in Education Award. He has taught a variety of classes including Information Security, Cyber Security, Advanced Cyber Security, Telecommunications, Systems Analysis and Design, Decision Support Systems, Web Servers, and Introductory MIS courses. He is the author of Applied Information Security, Applied Networking Labs, and Corporate Computer Security 3rd edition.
Jeffrey A. Clements is a current Management Information Systems (MIS) doctoral candidate at the College of Business at Florida State University. He received a master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah in 2010. He also has a B.S. in Entrepreneurship.
