Supercharge your career

with today’s most valuable business skill:

Networking

85% of America’s new jobs and 75% of replacement positions are never posted anywhere. Not on Monster or LinkedIn. Not on college job boards. Not in the newspaper. Nowhere! There’s only one way to get those jobs: by networking.

Networking isn’t just the best way to launch your career: it’s the best way to build it. And whoever you are, you can network successfully--even if you’re quiet, shy, or introverted. You just need to commit to learning the specific, proven techniques you’ll find right here.

Writing just for students and recent graduates, Michael Faulkner and Andrea Nierenberg show how to get past the fear, uncertainty, and confusion, and start building your network and your brand. You’ll learn how to start right now with “baby steps”...]build on them a little at a time...develop confidence and start helping others, too...and transform your network into results!

  • Master the networking “mindset”
  • Position and differentiate your 100% unique brand: “YOU”
  • Do what great networkers do (it’s easier than you think!)
  • Nurture, track, and grow the network you already have
  • Master networking etiquette, so you attract instead of repel
  • Use social media to your greatest advantage
  • Move from high-power networking to the winning interview
  • And much more!
