Born and raised in Huntington, WV, Carol Dixon has been an artist all of her life. In High School, Carol won a scholarship to the Huntington Museum of Art. She then received further training at Marshall University and finished her education at Marietta College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Carol also illustrated the award winning children's book, Friends With A Difference by Ellen Pope. Carol's parents, Ann and Karl Brooks, encouraged her from a very young age to be an artist. They ensured she always had the lessons and equipment needed to develop her talent. Carol lives in Marietta, Ohio, with her husband Stephen.
