About the Author
CASS LEWART is the author of nine books and numerous articles dealing with data communications and computer programming, including the classic Modem Handbook for the Communications Professional, published in 1987. His career in data communications extends over 40 years, and has included project leadership with Bell Laboratories and Unisys in voice and data transmission, carrier telephony, equipment design, testing, and troubleshooting.
