In another, Lionel is faced with a lunch that includes an upside-down sandwich. His dad put the jelly on first and then the peanut butter. In the third, Lionel takes Jeffrey to a meeting of aliens, only to overhear his sister and her friends plotting revenge against him. In the last chapter, Lionel's home-run ball breaks the neighbor's window and all of his friends take the blame with him. Krensky and Natti have once again created a wonderfully humorous book with lively illustrations done in pencil, colored pencils, and watercolors. Beginning readers will identify with Lionel and his friends in their very true-to-life situations. Not only will they laugh at the funny stories, but they'll also see a little of themselves as well.
