This counting book begins with a mother turtle and her little one, and progresses to old mother duck and her little ducks nine. PW found this book full of "visual pleasures and surprises. Acrylic paintings with soft edges make lively shades of blue, gold, green; earth tones blend to display the jewels of the meadow, flora and fauna."
