About the Author
MARCEL PROUST (1871-1922) spent the early part of his life in Parisian high society before eventually retreating to his famous cork-lined room to devote the rest of his life to writing IN SEARCH OF LOST TIME. The first four volumes were published either in his lifetime or under his direct supervision and THE PRISONER, THE FUGITIVE and TIME FOUND AGAIN taken from almost final drafts.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Special Edition. Six Volume Set of the classic work by Marcel Proust, originally translated as Remembrance of Things Past and divided into seven volumes. Now titled In Search of Lost Time. All of the volumes are in at least very good condition, as are all of the dust jackets. None of the books have bumped corners. None of them have compromised hinges. A couple of volumes have light rub wear to the fore-edges. None of the jackets are chipped or torn. The slipcase, unlike the books, has considerable wear to edges, is not soiled and is structurally sound. (Note: Photos may show a flash reflection.) PayPal always welcome.
