Illustrated covers, by Marina McAllen, with yellow and white coloured titles to the front panel and spine. Rory and Rosie find out that their mum is a "Stinking Rotten Bad Fairy". The adventures that follow are somewhat zany. Staining and dust marks to the top paper edge and on the bottom paper edge, previous bookseller's stamp. Gift inscription on the top half of the front paste down. The dustwrapper is rubbed and somewhat faded and there is rubbing to the dustwrapper corners. On the front fold over there is a tear measuring 2.5 ". On the verso of the dustwrapper is staining, incorporating the rear panel and half the front panel of the lower edge and a little bit of the rear top edge of the back panel. A few foxing marks are also noted. A small triangular crease in the lower right hand corner of the front fold over. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 116 pages, last 2 blank.
