Pocket is a little rabbit who wishes--from his whiskers to his bunny feet--that he might discover the meaning of Christmas.
When Pocket hops out of his burrow on Christmas morning, he finds footprints left by children who have been playing in the snow. He follows them all the way to a cozy cottage, and it is there, on the doorstep, that Pocket's Christmas wish comes true.

Pocket's Christmas Wish
Ann Bonwill and Russell Julian
It's Christmas morning, and a little rabbit named Pocket is playing in the snow with his brothers and sisters. But when the other rabbits hurry to the skating pond, Pocket stays behind, lost in thought. He is wondering about the meaning of Christmas. When Pocket sees a trail of tiny footprints he begins to follow them through the snowy woods, hoping that they might lead him to discover Christmas's meaning. Pocket's search makes a delightful Christmas story, enhanced with winter-inspired illustrations that perfectly capture the holiday spirit. Here's a wonderful gift for a child to find beneath the Christmas tree.

Russell Julian grew up with his two brothers in the Derbyshire village of Pinxton. He still loves the hills and countryside of this part of England and found the landscape around Cambridge where he studied for a BA in illustration very flat indeed! After graduating in 1996, Russell moved to London
where he built up his portfolio. His first books for children were published by Egmont in 2004. Russell still lives in London, with his partner and two young daughters. Russell Julian is the illustrator of Goat and Donkey in Strawberry Sunglasses, Goat and Donkey in the Great Outdoors and Goat and
