for SATB and piano
This secular text written by Edgar Allen Poe and set to music by Debra Scroggins is fanciful, calling into question reality as a dream, or even a dream within a dream. The music is lush and has a tasteful hint of popular harmonies alongside well written choral lines and an accessible piano part. This would be perfect for good high school choirs and was originally written for the Western Oklahoma ACDA High School Honor Choir.
