About the Author

Maxine Ruvinsky is a former journalist and professor of journalism. She is the author of two other Oxford University Press textbooks: Practical Grammar, 3e, 2014; and Investigative Reporting in Canada, 2008. Charles Hays is assistant professor and internship coordinator at the School of Journalism at Thompson Rivers University.
