About the Author

Towser Jones teaches Canadian and British history at Capilano University. She adapted the first and second Canadian edition from the US second edition (2003) prepared by William Kelleher Storey. William Kelleher Storey is professor of history at Millsaps College, and formerly the preceptor in expository writing at Harvard. He has published books with Rowman and Littlefield, Cambridge University Press, and the University of Rochester Press, and contributed chapters and articles to numerous books and scholarly journals.
