About the Author

Alan Bryman is professor of organizational and social research at the University of Leicester in the UK. James J. Teevan (deceased) was professor emeritus of sociology at the University of Western Ontario, where he taught research methods for more than three decades. Edward Bell is a professor at Brescia University College, University of Western Ontario, where he teaches statistics for sociology, research methods, and quantitative research.
