About the Author

Stephen Brooks is a professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Windsor, where he teaches in the areas of Canadian politics, public administration, and American politics. His research interests include the political influence of intellectuals, political thought in Canada and the United States, federalism, and public policy. He has been visiting professor at several institutions, including the University of Michigan, and recently spent seven months teaching Canadian politics in Paris. Marc Ménard is an instructor at Toronto's Seneca College in the School of English and Liberal Studies and plays an integral role in developing curriculum there. Each year, he teaches more than 200 students Canadian politics with the aim of engaging their interest in the world around them and developing their writing skills. Prior to teaching Marc worked in the civil service, experience that allows him to bring a very practical political element to his classroom. This is his first book.
