About the Author

Chris Skinner was formerly the Head of Department in Public Relations at the Durban Institute of Technology and is currently a consultant for the East and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI). Llew von Essen was previously Group Public Affairs Manager for Murray and Roberts, and President of the Institute for Public Relations and Communication Management. Gary Mersham is Professor and Head of Department of Communication Science at the University of Zululand. Sejamothopo Motau, a Fulbright scholar, is chairman of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, a former president of PRISA, and accomplished motivational speaker, who has spoken in SA and abroad on public relations, crisis communication, leadership and multicultural communication. He is the current president of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
