Synopsis

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as Agenda 2030, are collective, bold goals that identify areas of focus for prosocial efforts. The goals span a 15-year period from 2016 to 2030 and we are now past the halfway point in this timeline. The timing of this book is such that it will provide insights to guide the metaphorical “last mile”-the final years of SDG implementation and the pathway ahead. COVID-19 has been a substantial setback to achieving the SDGs. This volume allows for a post-COVID-19 perspective, situating insights within today's realities, which the pandemic, climate change, economic disruptions, and geopolitical tensions have shaped.
