Synopsis

The Literacy Kit is an innovative range of resources to support the introduction of the National Literacy Strategy at Key Stage 3, or for use in any literacy lesson. Used together, the components make up a complete literacy course. Components can also be used separately with existing schemes of work, providing a thorough yet flexible package. Geoff Barton is a teacher and best-selling author of Comprehension to 14. Michaela Blackledge was Literacy Coordinator in an NLS pilot school, and is now Literacy Consultant for pilot LEA Wakefield.
