Steffen L. Lauritzen, Emeritus Professor of Statistics, University of Copenhagen

Steffen L. Lauritzen studied statistics at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, gaining a PhD in Statistics in 1975. He has held professorships at Aalborg University, the University of Oxford and, most recently, the University of Copenhagen. He holds the Guy Medal in Silver from Royal Statistical Society, is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.
