The European Community has been in existence for forty years. This is the first work which seeks to stand back from the ever-growing detail of Community law, and examine this jurisprudence from an evolutionary and interdisciplinary perspective. This book will allow readers to gain a richer perspective on the interaction between law and other forces which have shaped the Community.
