About the Author

Geoffrey Rivlin is a Circuit Judge, who was for many years a barrister and QC. He sits in the Crown Court and High Court, and is a Bencher of the Middle Temple. He has devoted much of his time to assisting with the training of young advocates and newly appointed judges, and is in charge of the "Judges and Schools" programme.
