You would expect, given the information based society we live in, people would have a better understanding on how data should be regulated and control. Unfortunately, it is generally not the case. Where there is a gap in the knowledge, Data Protection: A Practical Guide to UK and EU Law steps
in to fill the void. And does it admirably well!...What is surprising about the book is how easy it is to read. I can only commend Carey's approach: it allows both lawyers and non-lawyers to become familiar with the issues and principles...This is an excellent text which is exactly what it says it
