K.R. Meera is an independent journalist and writer. She has received several prestigious awards for her works in fiction and has so far published five short story collections, five novels, two novellas, one volume of essays, and two children's novels.

J. Devika is a researcher and teaches at the Center for Development Studies, Kerala. She focuses on translating anti-patriarchal writings from Malayalam into English and has published in both languages.
