To further reinforce core concepts, the last 40% of the book is devoted to a set of review questions and practice tests.The text is divided into 30 chapters and designed to be assigned as supplement to the main text in the course, however it can be used as a stand alone text.

Charles C. Hardin is Associate Professor at North Carolina State University (Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Spectroscopy, computational chemistry from Iowa State University). James A. Knopp is Associate Professor at North Carolina State University (Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from University of Illinois at Urbana).
