About the Author

Judy Bishop is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Pretoria, and has a wealth of experience teaching programming to undergraduates. She is the author of eight textbooks. She serves on IFIP and IEEE committees concerned with technical programming issues and the worldwide promotion of computing.
