Significant educational features:Dan Necsulescu is currently a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa. He received the B.S. degree in power engineering and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from University Politehnica, Bucharest, Romania and the Licentiate in Philosophy degree from the University of Bucharest. His research interests and contributions are in dynamics and control, mechatronics, robotics, and optomechanics. He has over 45 journal publications and numerous presentations to his credit, and has co-authored an, applied virtual instrumentation book, published by WIT Press in 2000.
