About the Author
Nolan Hester wrote the previous edition of this book, FileMaker Pro 4 for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide; as well as FrontPage 2000 for Windows: Visual QuickStart Guide and DeBabelizer: Visual QuickStart Guide. A former development and acquisitions editor at Peachpit Press, he also managed the launch of its award-wining Web site. He currently works as a freelance writer, editor, and Web consultant.
