Behavior modification has lacked operational procedures to sharpen techniques and equipment. About the Author
Edwin J. Thomas is professor emeritus of social work in the School of Social Work and the Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan. He has written many articles for professional journals and has also contributed to many books. He has edited Behavioral Science for Social Workers and Applications to Social Work, has co-edited Role Theory: Concepts and Research and Intervention Research: Design and Development for Human Service, and was coauthor of the report of the American Psychiatric Association entitled Behavior Therapy in Psychiatry.
