Building a Safer Society transcends national and disciplinary boundaries to summarize what is known about different strategic approaches to crime prevention. Michael Tonry is the McKnight Presidential Professor of Criminal Law and Policy and Director of the Institute on Crime and Public Policy at the University of Minnesota.
