Soft cover. Condition: Very Good ++. Anthony Browne (illustrator). First Edition. 30 page story set in Britain near the seacoast about blending families and the sacrifices involved. Katy and her Dad are attracted to Mary and Sean. The first two are conservative and settled, the latter two are boisterous and adventuresome. Cond : Paper wrapper is blue with black lettering- more accurately it is a wrap-around graphic of a beach scene including a giraffe and thre sea gulls. Corners, edges, and spine are sharp. The usual library markings are ALMOST invisible. No creases nor tears. Excellent reading copy !! Quote (p.08) : " Sometimes Katy went to see her Mum, who lived in another town.
