Flourishing inscription on the half title by the author to Jack Kine, the actor and set designer, dated 1986. Dust wrapper is unclipped at £6.95 and shows minimal wear ; a tiny amount of creasing at the spine head. Also near fine. This book is a prequel to 'Doors of the Mind' which we also have in stock inscribed to the same person. Scarce in this signed state. 'The Door marked Summer' is no ordinary read, it explores a parallel world many would like to inhabit if they dared open the door. In many cases it requires some trauma/personal pain to make it happen. He gives an honest account of his experiences of the paranormal. There is emphasis on mediums and psychic exercises; he tells of a life full of amazing experiences and insights into matters lying beyond the boundaries of everyday life - but matters which occasionally intrude into our existence and need to be explained. The book is mostly chronological, and includes Bentine's childhood and his experiences in WW2 (including as an Intelligence Officer).
