A Windows-based PC program that simulates the effects of player decisions on a bank's quarterly balance sheet and income statement, this pack is designed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience. The program can be played in two different Competitive mode (students compete with one another in a competitive region or market area) and Autobank mode (students play against impersonal market forces, allowing them to concentrate exclusively on the financial planning and management of their own bank). The program is designed to be as realistic as possible, rooted as it is in practical financial and microeconomic principles. This requires students to perform analysis prior to and subsequent to making decisions. It is also market orientated, encouraging students to understand the important connection between the market value and book value of a financial institution.
